Our Church

We are thankful that the Amazing Grace of God marked the humble beginning of GOSHEN CHURCH in Delhi, India on 15th August 2004. The day our nation also celebrates its freedom. It started as a small gathering that brought together people to worship & praise God. Our Church faced many ups and Downs but as GOD blessed and guided us throughout these years, the location of our Church changed from one place to another in Delhi but the presence of God and his transforming power enabled the church to grow spiritually more and more.

The Lord used our Pastor Joel David mightily to testify that Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever and under his guidance we continued to praise and worship wherever the Lord took us. Though we are small in numbers and unheard but we have witnessed our sick being healed, near death patients got a new life, the ‘lost ones’ regain and restored and hopeless found joy and salvation. Many among us witnessed angelic visitation and supernatural presence of Pillar of Fire. We believe that the bride is universal and welcome all who believe in full Gospel. Many people from different parts of India and abroad visited and fellowshipped with us and continued to do so.

In this present age God has called us to manifest his glory through His nature, behavior and character. If the world is ever going to see that glory, it must be made visible through Christ in us, the hope of glory (Col 1:27) and that is the key to our spiritual growth.

The Word of the Lord has promised that He would send to the earth once again the spirit of Elijah in these final closing days of time. We firmly believe that his promise was fulfilled in our days. The teachings are the official interpretation of the Bible. We are living in the last, i.e. the Seventh Church Age - Laodicea, when the Seventh angel came and preached the hidden mysteries divinely revealed. These are the days of the Voice of the Seventh angel and through HIS message the universal Bride is getting ready.

We believe that just before the end of this world God has visited this age through Prophet William Marrion Branham as the Seventh Church Age messenger. Who said “We believe in an apostolic church teaching and blessings for people of this day. We believe in the full gospel, and believe that all of the signs and the wonders that was spoken of by our Lord Jesus Christ would accompany His Church until He returns.” By His grace our goal is to testify our Lord Jesus Christ throughout the world by preaching, healing, praising, extending salvation etc. to every human being as much as possible. By God’s special grace we would be able to add our contribution in the betterment of the body of Jesus Christ.

Pastor Joel David was born on 11th Nov 1952, in a small God fearing family in Orai, Distt. Jalaun, Bundlekhand, U.P., India. He did his schooling from Kulpahar Christian School, Kulpahar. He completed High School and intermediate from Parker Inter College Moradabad. He graduated from D.B.S. College Kanpur and did his post graduation from Christ Church College, Kanpur. He did his professional teaching courses from Lucknow University, Annamalai University and Nagpur University.

He was already a dedicated child before even conception took place and was raised in the admonition of God.  After personal and miraculous encounter with Lord Jesus Christ on the 31st August 1982. Pastor Joel David offered and dedicated his life to God. He even began preaching soon after 3 months and established a number of Churches throughout India.  He introduced Lord Jesus Christ to different people of the remotest areas of not only India but in neighbouring nations also.  God has vindicated his ministry through signs and wonders and the Supernatural visitation. He is fond of studying the messages of the Holy Bible. He is a true warrior of Christ, an annointed leader, blessed by the fruit and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

He motivates the congregation to sing, play musical instruments and to be an active participant – The outcome is the “GOSHEN BAND” who give their free services as and when required throughout the country. He takes pain to perfect the choir and the band. He inspires and spurs on each member of the Church to be the studs that reach the finishing post, yet are ready to gallop on as if the race were not finished yet. He wishes the congregation of Goshen to find perfection within themselves, to be the mirror and not the veil. He believes that nothing is more important than conforming to God’s design and purpose. 

A perfect leader with sportsmen spirit. He’s a multitalented personality. A loving husband to his wife and caring father to his children. Honest to his vision, ready to take up challenges in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has never demanded respect, he has earned it and commands it
